Hydraulic wet lines are installed in vehicles to provide hydraulic power for a wide range of applications, including lifting, dumping, digging, cutting, compressing, etc. The wet lines refer to the hydraulic hoses and fittings that transport the pressurized hydraulic fluid from the vehicle’s primary hydraulic system to auxiliary equipment or attachments, allowing them to utilize hydraulic power for specific custom operations.
Hydraulic wet line systems are installed to convert the gas engine’s power to hydraulic power. A power take off (PTOs) is attached to the drive shaft and uses the rotation to run a hydraulic system. Other components of a wet line will include a pump, a reservoir, hoses, filters, valves, motors, actuators, etc.
