Hydraulic Pump Technician

We are seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Brookhaven, PA. This exciting opportunity primarily involves evaluating, resealing, assembling, and testing hydraulic components.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair hydraulic gear, piston, vane, cartridge, and gerotor pumps and motors
- Repair PTOs, HPUs, valves
- Troubleshoot/ test miscellaneous machinery & equipment and reading gauges in order to identify defects, then order/request necessary parts and perform repairs to components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Work with production and their schedule to ensure timely repair of equipment.
- Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Read and understand blueprints/drawings
- Identify parts from brands: Vickers, Denison, Bosch Rexroth, Parker, Eaton, etc.
- Test components to ensure they meet performance standards
- Document work performed in a clear and concise manner
Basic Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Understanding/background of hydraulic components and how they cooperate within hydraulic systems
- 4 years of experience in disassembling, evaluating, and repairing hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid power applications)
- Understanding of the high-pressure hydraulic systems
- An intermediate understanding of electrical wiring and circuits
- Ability to work with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations including addition, subtraction, fractions, measurement, and percentages and converting between metric and standard measurements.
- Ability to use and read micrometers and calipers.
