Mobile Technician

Mac-Hydraulics is a fast-paced, customer-focused, hydraulic service company based out of Brookhaven PA. And we have a full-time position for a Field Service Tech.
Some of your key responsibilities will be in, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components in the field, documenting issues and potential issues, and performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide labor disassembling and reassembling machines, trucks, and equipment
- Removing and installing hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, etc.)
- Manufacturing and replacing hydraulic hose assemblies
- Diagnosing issues in hydraulic/ electrical systems
- Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies on truck
- Record detailed notes for each job on work done, the time it took to complete the tasks, and information for equipment worked on
- Take part in organizing your schedule
- Be responsible and professional when dealing with customers face to face
What you bring
- Minimum of 3 years experience repairing heavy equipment or hydraulics.
- An ability to work with colleagues and customers as well as be accountable for your tasks
- A passion for learning and improving
- A desire to tackle tough diagnoses and solve puzzles
- A willingness to fail, so that you learn and achieve great results
- The ability to thrive under pressure and accept new challenges
- A willingness to learn new skills and put those skills to the test in the field
